i guess its cube root (-89)

if thats the case then IMO its 3.

( -4)^3 = -64
(-5)^3 = -125

and -89 lies in this interval ... hence its C

Though i know cube roots of negatives exists just i was sure the square roots of negatives exists in advanced maths.. I am not sure if they exists on GMAT.

I request Ian/Stuart to give some insights on this one,..
