Can someone please explain the role "repertory, views" play in this sentence. I don't understand the comma. I thought the comma is used to separate two adjective. Not the case here. Is "whose repertory"
a modifier? but that makes views a verb. The comma here is really throwing me off.

I think it's a modifier that modifies Bill Monroe .

As pointed out by 786, whose repertory.... is a modifier that modifies Bill Monroe. The presence of three things -repertory, view on xxxx, and vocal style essentially means that we can eliminate choices starting with "was influential" (as 3 things means plural).

There is another concept tested here- Concision/Conciseness. The general rule around that is called V-A-N rule ie Verb > Adjective > Noun. influenced(verb) is preferred over was influential(Noun).
