You have strong, but not exceptional, academics (NIT versus IIT and mid-700's versus high-700's). You are, however, very active in community service. Try to highlight more the leadership aspects rather than merely being a member of a variety of activities.

I would recommend you understand your goals on a more granular level (what areas of management consulting and which companies) as well as how this step aligns with your overall career path and with which companies recruit at your target schools.

HBS will be difficult but the other schools, especially ISB, are within reach.

Good luck,

That kind of a GMAT and your solid work experience in traditional engineering project management/analytics are very attractive.

You will need to really work hard on the essays to distinguish yourself and explain your consulting goals in the context of what you have already done that foreshadows success in that field.

I would also say that given the number of male Indian engineer applicants, you may need to consider a broader mix of schools to ensure you get accepted into a program---perhaps schools like Carnegie Mellon, Cornell and McCombs (that are very accepting of engineers).

Good Luck
