Could someone share their views on the above programs.?
I have done a lot of research on these but havent been able to visit the schools yet.
Both schools/programs are great.
MIT offers an MBA and Stanford an M.Sc in Mgt. I think an MBA degree is recognised better but then at senior positions MBA from MIT or Masters from Stanford would not matter that much. Class sizes are different. MIT has 100+ and SF 57. On one hand its good to have a network of 100 plus people vs 57 straight from class, but it also means that you wont know everyone.
While the bay area has companies that I would like to work for in the future, but eventually I will be in that community. I am thinking of utilising this time to expereince something different.
I am trying to get some opinions beyond what is already available on the internet or school's websites.
