As fortune would have it, at 2AM on the morning of my exam, my neighbors started screaming at each other. They kept this up for about half an hour, just long enough to get me wide awake. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't because I was too worried about being tired the next day. How's that for some bull$hi+?! Anyway, I finally got to sleep for a couple of more hours before taking my 8AM GMAT. I'm already NOT a morning person, so I knew I was in trouble. I was a little nervous, but more than anything I was just tired. The end result was a 620.. not horrible, but not good enough... and more importantly below what I'm capable of. My last two Kaplan CAT's were 680 and 700.
My target program has a 640 median, but my goal is 680-700. (I have to compensate for a less-than-stellar --aka crappy-- undergraduate GPA.)
Anyway. I've set another GMAT appointment for 11/12/08. The test is at 2PM this time. This way I'll have some cushion sleep-in time. Also, have any of you realized an increase when taking your test at a different time of day?
Thanks all!
