from 610-620, but score flip-flop, ahhh

i just took the gmat for the second time. the first time I got Q35,V40 so I studied my tail off in quant and today I got a Q42, but V34....i am so incrtedibly disappointed. i'm really proud of myself for doing so well on the math, but for god's sake, a 34 on verbal! my bday is tomorrow and my "gmat is over" celebration will not be much of a celebration. this whole gmat experience has been more humbling that i'd like.

Hi Bbuisson.

Happy B'Day in advance!

I read this somewhere.....

"Winning is not always a victory and Loosing is not always a defeat"

If you still have the steam and if your current score may keep you out of being considered for the schools that you are targeting, then you can give a shot again.

P.S: I am aiming for my 4th & final attempt (550 to 600 to 640 to ??)....since I am towards the lower side of my target school.

All the best!

thanks 3g.....i've read your posts and i do have motivation for round 3 of the gmat. it's just tough to re-morivate knowing i reached my goal my improving quant, but somehow dropped the ball in verbal. perhaps third time is the charm for me....and hopefully your score keeps moving in the right direction. maybe you're do for a 700 this time. thanks fo rth ekind words, i needed it.
