Just came back from the test centre with a 620 in my had!!!! Scored 50 in Q and just a 25 in V....AWA went fine for me, was pretty easy in the arg and in issue could get the valid points somehow...Math too went fine with some DS tricky Qs in b/w.
WARNING - In DS Qs please do chk before you select a C or E coz many a times it mite end up in A or B!!!! I fell in the trap a couple of times but luckily found the mistake. PS was really cool, faced only 1 question from permutation and none in probability. Towards the end I was pretty much relaxing but still was left with 6 mins.
Till the verbal part started everthing was gng cool and so thot that today will be my day. Verbal started with an SC....was pretty tuf for me or maybe I wasnt good in grammar...CR too was pretty ok...had two logical completions, two conversation response type Qs, no BFs. RC part too seemed pretty good for me except for one passage. Finished my verbal with 10 mins to go.
Really dont know where exactly in verbal have I failed and this really frustrates me. Anways all I know is I need to improve on the verbal part. The rest I think looks fine for me, even in quant I think I can score atleast 48 even if I dont practice at all.
My verbal started with OG11 in pace with Princeton classes. Then switched on to Manhattan SC guide and then as a practice did arnd 500 Qs in 1000 SC doc. Hit rate was only 70% but then tried to figure out where I went wrong. For CR and RC too I started with OG and then moved the 1000 series for practice. I even practiced OG 10 for the CR part. Also did a few sets too in verbal part (31-27) but in the sets too I went wrong in arnd 13-16 Qs.
I really need a help from verbal tutors and experts at this juncture. Please do let me know if further information is needed from my side regarding the verbal strategy!!!!
