Visit schools before or after applying?

by molt_llest » Sat Sep 06, 2008 11:39 am
I would like to know wether is better to visit the schools before or after applying? I'm from Barcelona and I will visit the schools just once.

I have though that visiting them before is better because I can use my experience in the schools in the essays, but now I'm almost without dates and if going after applying is not a big deal I will might wait one month to go.

Dear molt_llest,

The important thing is to visit, whether it is before or after you submit your application. It is nice to visit prior to submission to incorporate what you learn into the essays. But it is also nice to interview in person and visit then. I don't think there is an advantage to the when part--it is just the advantage of taking the time to visit as it shows your interest and commitment.

Best of luck,
Lisa
