Hi All,

In the below question, the OA is [spoiler]"C"[/spoiler]...can somebody please help me understand why [spoiler]"C"[/spoiler] is better then [spoiler]"A"[/spoiler] ?

The customer will not be responsible for transactions made with lost of stolen credit cards after issuing replacement cards.

a) The customer will not be responsible for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards after issuing replacement cards.
b) No customer will be responsible for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards after they are issued replacement cards.
c) The customer will not be responsible for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards after replacement cards have been issued.
d) Responsibility for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards will not be the customer's after he is issued replacement cards.
e) The customer will not be responsible for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards after such time as they will have been issued replacement cards.

C is right

Like, you I also boil down to A and C.
but, In A ::The customer will not be responsible for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards after issuing replacement cards. , makes it a wrong choice. The customer is not issuing replacement cards, instead the customer is issues a replacement card, and therefore C is the right choice.

in c it seems customer is issuing card....

Can there be some other reason too ? Like some grammatical error etc....based on which we can kick out "A"...

But IMO this sense is coming from "A"...

Please tell what I am missing here.

Sorry by mistake i had written C.
A is wrong because it says... customer is issuing the card..

Can you please tell why can't we interpret "A" like:

The customer will not be responsible for transactions made with lost or stolen credit cards after issuing replacement cards.........[by the credit card company]

Will the above interpretation not convey that card has been issued by credit card company ?

Please tell what I am missing here ?

I am not good at graamar...
But i think it should be ...

after getting issued replacement cards.........[by the credit card company]
