Its 0.5% of $1000 = $5
1% of $2000 ($3000 - $1000) = $20
1.5% of $3000 ($6000 - $3000) = $45
2% of $4000 ($10000 - $6000) = $80
A total of $5+$20 + $45 + $80 = $150
