Hi everyone. One obvious question that haunts all of us would be 'what school is the best fit for me?'.Some of us talk to a respective mentors, alumni or other people who are able to guide them and answer that question.I need the help of this community(the best source indeed) to help me answer this question.Let me give you a snapshot of my profile:
I worked for service delivery team of a major bank for over 9 years.Of which, 8 years I was the various leadership roles-last six years I was an operations manager in risk team(collections) and contact centers(customer service).I managed businesses for UK and US regions and have excellent understanding of my business models and processes.I had a team of 100 employees reporting to me, which included 7 asst.managers.Apart from operations, I managed MI,training, employee engagement and corporate sustainability initiatives at department and site(the big company that I was a part of).
Although doing MBA has always been my dream but to quantify my dream into something tangible, I'm looking at my MBA as a medium to be able to:
a) Move into a consulting role - within the scope of financial services
b) To lead a larger team in operations environment as the operational head for a profit center
Although,I've shortlisted the following schools, narrowing down to the most appropriate one would help me in making clear and strong decisions:
1.ISB-PGP
2.XLRI-GMP
3.NUS-Fulltime MBA
4.Nanyan-Regular MBA
5.SP Jain-Global MBA program
6.AIM-Regular MBA
Please feel free to suggest other schools that may add value to me and my career.
