Frustrated...What should I do now...

I have done 2 Kaplan Gmat test with the following results:
Test 1: Q40 V30 T600
Test 2: Q52 V30 T690

How accurate is Kaplan? I am getting lazy on Quan but working harder on Verbal. Is it good for me to continue to focus on Verbal or put my efforts equally on both parts? My target is 700 but 690 is also acceptable.

Everyday I read pages of English literature (Charles Dickens) to boost up my verbal skills.

My target B school is Simon Fraser and University of British Columbia (Both are Canadian schools). I have 1 yr placement and 1 solid working experience.

Any advices will be greatly appreciated.

Kaplan has been known to be unnecessarily hard and has frustrated many students so Welcome to their Club :)

In order to know where you really stand, i would suggest taking either PowerPrep or GMATPrep. You'll probably get a more accurate score there.

Kaplan tests tend to be lower than actual results. Kaplan is great for students aiming for 500-650. But if a student is trying to score higher, it might be good to use a different source of prep.
