Frequency of problem types

by Shridharvk » Wed Aug 18, 2010 7:23 am
Dear All,

I wanted to know how frequently each problem type appears on the exam. Meaning, how important each problem type is from the examination point of view. I have just over 14 days left for the exam. I wanted to know the problem types require more attention than others.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Shridhar

Verbal
CR- about 12 questions
SC- about 15 questions
RC- 14 questions

Math
PS- 22
DS-15

However, the problem type that you should spend the most time on depends on your weaknesses. Even if you're great at RC, you won't get a good score if you're terrible at SC. That said, since you have 14 days left before the exam, studying SC usually gives you the most bang for you buck.

Cheers!

Daniel, thanks for reply.

Could you please tell me what topics to concentrate more on?

For e.g., in Math, Should I concentrate more on Probability than Geometry?

It really depends on you and your weaknesses. However, it seems that straight probability and geometry come up less than say word translations.
