Experts,

Please help to understand how we can arrive at answer. Did try with different numbers but couldn't get it.

the answer could be reached by trying two values for x: 0.99 and 1.01.

x--------1/x------2x-------x2
0.99----1.01----1.98----0.9801

x--------1/x------2x-------x2
1.01----0.99----2.02----1.02
