Answer should be C.radhika1306 wrote:If X, Y, and Z are positive integers, is Y>X?
(1) Y^2=XZ
(2) Z-X>0
Statement 1 does not give enough info to solve the questions.
Statemetn 2 says that Z>X but nothing else.
Now take the two together, since Y^2=XZ and Z>X, Y has to be greater than X e.g
Y = 6, Y^2 =36
Factor of 36 =2*2*3*3
So if X is 12 Y = 3
If X is 9, Y = 4
In all cases Z > Y > X
Is this correct?
