Just a quick semi-related comment to say that most top American schools do not want grades converted when you fill out their applications - and also, people often mis-calculate when converting to the American 4.0 system. It's tough, because a 65.7% actually means something quite different at one Indian school compared to another (based on the grading style, competitiveness factors, etc.). Just be conservative with whatever you enter into the GMAT screen. The schools won't hold it against you if you have a too-high converted GPA here but it's always best to avoid such inconsistencies in the application process.
