First one is correct.

To make 2nd correct you have to say,like XYZ did.

The first one is correct because "like" refers to "divers" and the comparison is set between the divers and the likes of Greg Louganis. The sentence means that "I" want to coach divers similar to Greg Louganis.

In the second sentence, the comma before "likes" makes it refer to the subject of the sentence "I". Now, the comparison is set between "I" and Greg Louganis which is not the intended meaning of the sentence. Also a verb has to follow Greg Louganis to make the comparing elements equal because the focus of comparison is on "coach", the verb.

Both are absolutely fine sentences with different meanings:

I want to coach divers LIKE Greg Louganis.
I want to coach divers, LIKE Greg Louganis

The first one means that I went to a caoch divers and those caoches were like Greg Loughanis.

The second one will be more clear if you'll think of it as :
I want to coach divers, LIKE Greg Louganis (did). It means that you & both Greg Louganis, both went to the coach divers. 'Did' is hidden there but the sentence is absolutely fine..
