to convert metres/sec into kilometers/hr u shud multiply it by 18/5

there fore x meters = 18x/5 km= y

x meters per second = y Km per hour = 1000y Km per hour 5/18 y meters per second

(use direct proportion to convert betwenn unities)

Therefore: y = 18/5 x

I am still not seeing where the 18/5 comes from. Can anyone explain a bit more?
