what prep course should I take??

by mbadrew » Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:54 pm
Hello Everyone,

My name is Drew. I live in San Francisco and I plan on applying to UC Berkeley's partime MBA program. I Just wanted to get feedback from all of you out there about your experiences with taking prep courses. I've heard good and bad things about different programs but wanted to get more input. I'm leaning towards MLIC and would like to know if others have taken MLIC prep review.

thanks
D

I would vote for Manhattan Prep.......

I didn't take any class but I have used 2 of their books, and they are great. I wish I would have bought all 7.....

We will see how my strategy pays off though in about 36 hours....

I have not seen any "real" reviews from people taking MLIC. I have seen a lot of spam from that company in different forums, where they're pretending to be real customers, but the reviews are so obviously fake. Just based on that, I would stay away from them. I wouldn't trust them if they have to resort to that to promote their company.

Thanks for the feedback you guys. I saw the manhattan course, all 7 books for $120 on ebay. I think I'll invest in it.

wait - don't buy the 7 books from ebay!!!

First, those are 2005 edition. The full set = 8 books now (2007 edition). Also, the 2007 books come with access to online resources. BUT the resources can be used by only one person. If someone else has already used that book's code to access the online resources, then you don't get to access them!
Please note: I do not use the Private Messaging system! I will not see any PMs that you send to me!!
