If x + 4 > 3 and x – 5 < 2, x is between which 2 numbers?

a. 1 and 7

b. -1 and 3

c. -1 and 7

d. -3 and 1

e. 1 and 3

C is the answer

All we need to do is solve for x in the inequalities to find:

x > -1 and x < 7

Thus, the answer is C.
