annual salary

Division R of company Q has 1000 employees. What is the average (arithmetic mean) annual salary of employees at company Q?

1] The average annual salary of employees in division R is 30,000.

2] The average annual salary of the employees at Company Q who are not in division R is 35,000.

Since no information is given about the number of people who are not in division R, we can not calculate the average of the whole company, so I rather not worry about calculations and choose E.

Stmt I is missing info on Q (other than division R)

Stmt II is missing info abour div R

Taken together still dont have all the info (dont know how many employees company Q has other than division R)
