1 - insufficient. Take p = r = 2, we get 1/2 > 1/3rajesh_ctm wrote:Is 1/p > r/(r^2 + 2) ?
(1) p = r
(2) r > 0
For p = r = -2, we get -1/2 < -1/3
2 - insufficient. We know nothing about p
Combining 1 and 2, we know that r > 0 and p = r. For all positive values
of p (=r), 1/p > r/(r^2 + 2)
Hence C
