Strategy help- GPREP-610, PR-620,580

Hi All,

My test is on Feb 26th. I have attempted the follwoing 3 tests.

Princeton Test 1: 630
V 32, M 45
GMAT Test: 610
Couldn't get the split.
Princeton Test 2: 580 [ I wasn't able to complete the last question in quans. A disturbance cropped up.]
V 32, M 38

My target is to get something above 600 and 650 would be a real bonus.
I went thro' the wrong questions. I did well but for few mistakes. I could see the right answer but still something made me choose THE WRONG answer thinking it could be better than the right one.
I felt the RC were also a bit easy in the PR2.
Is Princeton's verbal in PR tests easier/harder/on par with the GMAT?

I had made lot of silly mistakes in quans.Going tho' the questions again I could figure out the way to do the things.
I feel the quans were easy. Seemed like I couldn't get to the next level.
If the Practice tests are going to give me such a low score and with setting me to a lower level, I feel I will fail miserably in the actual test.
Can you please suggest me what I should do to improve my score? I am also going thro' the GMAT SETS as well.
Can all of you please pour your thoughts on how I can improve in the next 2 weeks to achieve my target?

Thanks a Ton

Before proceeding I recommend that you take a GMATPrep test from MBA.com. These free tests are the most accurate indicator of your current GMAT performance since they feature real but retired GMAT questions. It's the best calibrator of where you current perform.

One comment about making lots of careless errors. Usually this is an indicator that you are moving too quickly through your questions. Being slightly more deliberate and slow and you go through the questions can dramatically improve your accuracy. Something to think about, especially if you find yourself finishing each section a bit early.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot Eric.
I would take the GMATPrep test again.
I will post my queries here after I do another analysis of where I stand.

Took my GMAT Prep 2 today and scored an appalling 570
with V-27, Q-42.
Yet to do analysis but still this has caused a huge dilemma.
I don't know how would I go from here.
I have not been opening the books for quite sometime since I was held up with office work.
Hope some miracle happens on the next 4 days (feb 26th--D day) .

Planning to do the following:
1.Analyze the areas of error.
2.Read thro' the materials for CR
3.Go thro' more RC,CR.
4.Work on the areas of weakness in Quans.

Take up one more Princeton test 2row and see where I stand.
Re-install the GMAT PREP and take the 2 tests in the coming days and prepare for AWA.
And rest is miracle.
Any comments and help are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
