i thought whose will directly explain "American West," that's why i gave up B and chose "D"

the correct answer is B

you are left with B and D

the phrase that starts with "WHOSE" is only modifying the antecedent right before it. Also its a perfect parallel comparison.

D has an ambiguous THAT. WAtch for the amiguity

correct me if I'm wrong
