Roger can eat 12 hot dogs in one minute. At this rate, how many will Roger eat in one full day if he does not fall asleep, get sick, or rest?
A. 720
B. 1532
C. 17280
D. 43200

If he eats 12 each minute, then he eats 12*60 = 720 each hour, and 24*720 each day. I wouldn't bother multiplying that out, considering how far apart the answer choices are - a very rough estimate will do just fine here. Now 20*700 is 14,000, and 24*720 won't be too much bigger than that, so C is right.
