My questions are the following:

(1) What is my level of competitiveness at the top 10 schools list and what GMAT score should I aim when I retake the test?

(2) What is my level of competitiveness at the top 30 schools list with my current GMAT without retaking it?

Many thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Hatem

Dear Hatem,

You do have an interesting profile in that you work for Booz and are fully sponsored by the Saudi government. I am glad to hear you are retaking the GMAT as you need to increase your score to be competitive for your top 30 schools. The range you should aim for is 680+ to be competitive. You are competing against a large applicant pool for all of these schools, and in particular the international applicants for these schools. There are many applicants with a similar profile but with GMAT scores over 680. It is important for you to present a compelling application to be offered a seat over someone else.

Good luck,
Lisa
