How to buy CATs online somehow?

by dchen » Sat Aug 07, 2010 7:47 pm
Hi,

I've done extensive searching on this forum and online, and it seems like apart from the MGMAT tests (which I have already done), and the free demo/diagnostic tests (1 from Kaplan, 1 from Princeton Review, etc.), there is no other way to purchase the Princeton or Kaplan other CATs.

i.e. I have my GMAT in 3 weeks and I really don't want to take an online course of any sort, esp when essentially all I'd like are the CATs. I'm curious, did everyone just attend the course or is there some other way to get the CATs (I'd be willing to purchase/pay/reuse someone's account). I don't feel that a $700 purchase on Kaplan is worth it if all I want are the CATs.

Please PM me if there is some other way that I should lean about...i.e. can I use someone's account (and compensate them)?

Thanks so much. I really appreciate the help.

What's the main reason why you are looking for CATs? Grockit has a large bank of questions that utilize timers and keeps track of score, though not the same as GMAT score.

It might be something you might find useful.
Yep.

Thanks for the response. I checked out Grockit and will definitely use it as a resource.

At this point, I've reviewed most of the regular materials (Official Guide, Manhattan books, Kaplan), and think I want to work on my stamina during the exam and in a real test setting.

If that's the case, then I think Grockit would definitely benefit you. I am to the point where I am not very motivated to practice, but Grockit introduced the element of competition that has always driven me to push harder.
Yep.
