Results for GMAT flip-flopped

by daveserv » Thu Mar 05, 2009 4:50 am
I recently took the GMAT and scored a 510. I wasn't the happiest, but I can take it again. What gets me is that I studied Princeton and did 800score and GMATPrep and basically scored around 560-580 (around 37Q, 27V)everytime. When I took the GMAT, things reversed (25Q, 35V). WTF!

What this tells me is that following the tips for cracking the verbal in Princeton works and nothing I did for the quantitative worked. Any ideas on how to get my quant. score up?

I have only scanned the books. Each is a separate book and I didn't have much time to go through them. What I don't get is the difference in the quantitative score getting much worse that the GMATPrep. I just took the GMATPrep yesterday and got a 37q and 32v. I must have coked on the actual GMAT quant. or it is harder than it looks.
