If distinct points A, B, C, and D form a right triangle ABC with height BD, what is the value of AB times BC?

1. AB = 6

2. The product of the non-hypotenuse sides is equal to 24

OA = B

what's the source of this question; it seems not very clear in text and statements
st(1) says AB=6 Not Sufficient

the question itself says the points are distinct so the only way height BD is drawn towards the hypotenuse AC by creating two more right triangles ABD and CBD, subsequently four more non-hypotenuse sides. St(2) says the product (*) of the non-hypotenuse sides is equal to 24?? That is the product of six sides is 24?

please reveal the source
