I took the GMAT exam yesterday, and I completely bombed the Verbal section. Ironically during the exam I thought I was doing horrible on Quant and did fairly decent on Verbal -- When the scores came it was the complete opposite.
Got a 48 on Quant and a dismal 21 on Verbal. I have no clue what went wrong in verbal...Seems like I need some serious help in verbal.

Can someone refer me to a private tutor who specializes in verbal??

Thanks,
BK

Hey BK,

Congratulations on a great quant performance...and, actually, your story is a great learning experience for others here. You can't really predict how you're doing on either section just based on how difficult you feel the questions are, so don't psyche yourself out - take each one as it comes!

Hey, I normally don't like to use this space as much for advertising as for providing GMAT suggestions, but since you asked and it may be a great fit, Veritas Prep has an instructor, Mia, in West LA who is an English professor in the UC system and was our top-ranked instructor worldwide (based on student evaluation scores) for our spring classes. If you're interested in talking more about it, let me know or give our office a call.

Cheers,
Brian
