by Ashish Jassra » Wed Jun 09, 2010 10:21 am
Just have reached home after GMAT. I have scored 680 (v49 and q34).

Now, I am not sure if I should give GMAT again or apply using this score.

You may need some background, so here it is

Extensive experience in process management, project management, budge management team management
Managed teams of more than 30 resources or budget of more than 3million gbp
International experience
Industry - Retail/IT

I am happy to share mrore details if that helps

If you can afford to take the exam again and you can study 3 hours a day 5 days a week, I think you can definitely raise your verbal score. It may be worth a shot. If you have the time and money, taking it again can't hurt.

According to my research, you are slightly older than the average age of full-time
MBA candidate for top programs in the US. So I guess the answer to your question really depends on the schools of your choice.

anyways you are right in pointing out. I plan to do EMBA only, not full time MBA

Heh, sorry about that. I am really not that much younger than you, and age was one of my concerns when I started this journey, hence it was the first thing that I noticed in your profile. The reason why I pointed it out also is because age is one of many factors beyond our control, and GMAT score may be the few offsetting factors we do have in our control.

With that thought in mind, perhaps you might want to consider posting few threads about your target schools in other part of the forum for more feedbacks.

So the split was V48 and Q34 or other way around? If this is what you have, definitely worth a try..

Hi,
If you can spent some money then you can contact admission consultant otherwise do some googling or ask people who are already in some b-school.
