Hey everyone. My name is Ryan and I'm 30 and from Ohio with a background in industrial engineering. I am very thankful for this site because it gives me a formal process and structure for preparing for the GMAT. I am good at math and solving problems, but was shocked at how much I had forgot when taking the diagnostic exams, and scored a 510 on the diagnostic exam. That was a true wake up call, and motivated me to really take GMAT preparation seriously.
I know that I want to get an MBA, but want to get it from a reputable school and I know a high GMAT score is the most single important way to stand out in an application. It's like the 40 time for a future NFL player. The stories on here are inspirational and I am impressed with the amount of resources that are available on this site. I am looking forward to the day where I can post how I beat the GMAT, and see what doors it will open for me in my career.
