help needed

hi , i hv taken the gmat 2 times and will be taking it for the third. i need to aim around 520 . however my quant sucks big time. i need to maintain 20 percentile each . so lets say if i get around 20 percentile on math . does anyone know how much i shud get for verbal ???????? i would reli reli appreciate anyone who can help ! thanks

I dont think many people can help you there. GMAC uses an algorithm for converting your performance into a score. Since no one knows how this algorithm works it would be very difficult to make an estimate on how much you need to score in verbal. It is obvious that if you score only 20 percentile in quant then you need to score much better in verbal to get to 520, how much better is something unfortunately I (and I am guessing most people) wont be able to tell you.

yeah it sucks ...cz i tot i can at least know how much i shud aim for verbal ...bt again thanks for the reply

based on my old scores when i first started studying for this demon, i believe you would have to hit atleast the 70th percentile in verbal.

wow 70 percentile is ALOT!!!!!!!! If its true, i am screwed :(
do u mind me knowin the exact score u got ?like the total points and percentile on each ??
