Are GMAT score improving

by moliver » Sat May 29, 2010 4:17 am
Hi!
Maybe this has been previously discussed.
Are gmat average scores improving each year???
What do you think?
A score for two years ago has the same percentile that this year?
Please share your thoughts!
Thanks!!

pd: I don't know if this is the correct forum for this post. thanks!

Words on the street is that it has been improving. Economy was thought to be a big factor, plus blogs like this one!

One thing I have noticed is that Barnes and Nobles continue to carry generic GMAT materials, which help those of us that put in the effort to find what else might be out there.

that's true

how about percentile with the same raw score but in different years?

In my firs attempt I score 48 in math (Oct - 2008) percentile 84%
Last attempt the same raw score (May 2010) percentile 83%
(In this new report I don't have the number of the sample size)

680 in October 2008 was, according to the report I got at that time, 86% and the same percentile that I got in the last attempt
So I though that score were a little higher, but in overall it apparently not.
Maybe more people is getting higher scores, but there is also more people taking the test and getting lower grades.

Anyone can share their raw scores and percentile in order to compare the evolution ?
