Target Score 600

Can anyone please tell me whether the strategy that I chose is sufficient in order to achieve 600.

I emphasize my studies on the following aspects of quant because these are the topics that appear most frequantly.

Ratios
Factors and multiples
Systems of equations
Rates
Overlapping sets
Right Triangles
Inequalities
Exponents
Percents
Coordinate geometry

As for verbal, I will just try to nail the SC because I don't really think that I will be able to considerably improve my RC and CR skills till June 30( my test date). What do you think, is this plan enough to achieve 600?

P.S. Of course I practice RC and CR here and there but I just do not spend as much time on them as I on the above mentioned areas, because I think it's better to be good at few things than to be average at all of the aspects of GMAT.

I personally think this is a solid plan to get over 600 - I may be a little biased because that's exactly what I did.

I agree RC and CR are something that can't be improved readily - you either have the ability to think logically or you don't. SC is much like math - there is right and wrong, and ways to condition yourself to get the most you can right. June 30th is plenty of time for you to get a 700 if you so desired. I think 600 is a very attainable goal for you.

I agree with havok; the return on investment (time-wise) is lower for CR and RC that for the other topics.

Your plan looks good.

Have you taken a practice test yet? That will give you an idea of how much work you'll have to do between now and June 30th. Who knows, you may be at the 600 level already :-)

Cheers,
Brent
