Hello,

It looks like you'd be a viable candidate at the schools you mention, though I would need more information to say so with any certainty. ("Viable" means fundamentally qualified -- keep in mind that most of these schools reject most of the qualified applicants.) Do you have a strong extracurricular record? That would be important for the more competitive schools on your list. Without that, schools like HBS, Kellogg, and Tuck would be at the outer edge of "reasonable" reach.

You might consider adding a couple of schools in the next tier - excellent programs such as Georgetown, Marshall, Texas, depending on your goals.

Best regards,

Thanks, Cindy.

My extracurriculars were pretty weak while I was in college because I worked every day. Since I have graduated my extracurriculars have been much better. I am on a leadership committee for a networking group and we try to be very active in the community. We have planned food drives, volunteering at soup kitchens, highway cleanups, etc...

Do you think the lack of extracurriculars while in college will hurt me? I can touch on this with a optional essay to discuss that I worked throughout college.

Hello,

I don't think it will be much of a drawback, especially since you worked at the time (make sure that fact comes out in the app).

In fact, the more common pattern is for people to have good extracurriculars during college, followed by scant extracurriculars/community service afterward during work -- in other words, they do more when it's (relatively) easier, less when it's harder. The adcoms know it takes more effort to be involved when you have a busy professional schedule, so your volunteering etc. post-college, while working will be a real plus.
