Expired Passport - GMAT entry?

by Ikonik » Tue Mar 08, 2011 12:36 am
Hi,
My passport has expired, I have applied for a new one, but if the new passport does not reach me till the test date, can I go with an expired passport.
Think of it logically, I am using it as an identity proof not to travel abroad right now. Even they expired one should hold good as an identity proof.
Has anyone faced this problem? Any inputs?
Maybe I should ask GMAC, what say?

Definitely check with GMAT, since the last thing you'd want on test day is some kind of stress around being able to sit for the test. My guess is, that they will not even check the expiration date, but I could be wrong....
