I was not talking about the free version but if there is a free version and has the same points that I had mentioned in my earlier post, then they should be the samemundasingh123 wrote:The Rc 99 at the following url is selling for 15$.
I thought you were talking about the free version.
How different is the free version from the one i have mentioned here.

GMAT SCORE: 760- The story of an underdog
Congratulations for the great score.. Did you see any idiom usage that was not seen before in your prep (including Aristole's list of idioms).. also how long were CR questions .. was it in comparable to length of OG CRs ( also with respect to toughness level) ..How about similarity of GMAT verbal questions to OG latter Verbal questions ..
First congratulations for the great score but there is a general objection about the level of OG and GMATprep questions. Many people say that it's not very hard and last 50 questions are like 650-680 level. So, don't you think only doing them may harm a person's score if he is targeting 700+?
actually i am not great at cramming ( in fact very lazy ), so i avoided cramming up the list of idioms...instead i relied on instincts in judging if the usage of the idiom is correct or not. if you are into the habit of reading, then you may not need to spend lot of time on idioms, it should come naturally...if u r not into much reading, then better cultivate the habit as the path you have chosen would demand you to read more and more in futuresv77 wrote:Congratulations for the great score.. i found the CR questions comparable to the OG CRs in terms of difficulty level. However, I think the Manhattan GMAT online tests offer far tougher CRs and practicing them may help you in achieving good skills which in turn will make the actual GMAT CRs look easier. However, eventually you should come back to OG CRs before going for the exam.
Overall, the actual verbal difficulty is similar to the OG verbal. However, quant in GMAT was tougher than the OG standard but not too much.
The OGs are necessary for your prep but not sufficient. You should go through other materials to sharpen your skills. However, my advice is that just before the exam, one should practice more of OG questions.newmoon wrote:First congratulations for the great score but there is a general objection about the level of OG and GMATprep questions. In my college, the highest CGPA was 8.9 so even if we convert into 4 scale,we get 3.56 and also considering the fact that I graduated from a top 10 Indian technical university.cipher17 wrote: I did not have to convert my score to GPA. My BTech University used to give us score in a scale of 10 and we used to call it CPA i.e Cumulative Performance Index.
In other institutes I find that people lots of people get above 9 easily but in my batch only 10 people had their GPA above 8.
I doubt that we can directly convert the 10 scale into a 4 scale.
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button

Great rundown! In my practice experiences so far, the above is what a test taker should pay great attention to.cipher17 wrote:As such the preparation may seem to get boring at times and you may feel like dragging yourself. Please stop studying immediately at that time. Take a break, watch a movie or do whatever you want to do to be happy at that point. If you have the focus the urge to study again will come back in a few hours or a day.
4. Go through the explanation for the incorrect choices. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT. Your performance in the exam would depend largely on how you eliminate the wrong choices. And going through the explanation for eliminating the wrong choice will help you in developing this skill.
GMATPrep and Powerprep are the closest that one can get to the actual GMAT as they are provided by GMAC. Only disadvantage is that these softwares do not provide answer explanations for the test questions.
Manhattan provides 6 mock tests that you have to buy. I believe that the cost is worth. The tests are tougher than GMAT standard and that makes you more focussed and shapes you well for the actual GMAT. So, do not lose heart if you are not scoring well; treat these as practice.
Last note: No other material in the market can provide you better questions suitable for GMAT than the test creator themselves. Also keep a cool during the end days and book your dates only when you are confident. Rescheduling the dates is not a big deal, I myslef did it thrice![]()
I went from 530 to 670 on MGMAT in 10 days simply by following a customized plan. Hope I cross 750 in the actual.

Congratulations, man! Liked your approach towards the GMAT ,very systematic.
One question : What was the difficulty level of the actual GMAT vis-a-vis the GMATPREP tests ?
