Hi All,

I posted about 4 weeks back that I wanted to increase my score to 750... I was at 650 AND have learnt the theory ... My study plan was 40PS, 40DS,20SC,20CR,5RC a day....

However, as I am a banker, the study plan got messed up as I got 4 live mandates! I did not study for 2 weeks and on catching up....I did the OG test today and my score is 580 (33 Quants, 30 Verbal)! I am supposed to write on Monday 14 December !!!

I don't want to mess the test up...so my choices are:

1. Shoot for Monday and do as many questions (FROM OG 11 & 12) as I can, If on Saturday my score is still low, postpone to January.

2. Just postpone to January

I am a bit overwhelmed as I was on the right track. Now I don't even know where to start!!!

Can anybody advise?

Thanks team

Here is my advice, but please don't think I'm mean or anything, I'm just giving you the truth. If your current score is 580 but you want a 750, then postponing is probably the only solution. People usually take a couple of months at least to see improvements of 150+ points, so if you were to take the test Monday getting something over 700 would probably mean that you either got lucky that time or you messed up your practice test.

All I'm saying is this: if a big score is on your list, then you need to invest time in your preparation. I know that balancing prep with a job is not an easy thing to do, but... Please take this as an honest piece of advice!
