Hi Yusif,

To get an idea of the required prep time, take an official practice test: https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx
It may be the case that you're already scoring above your target score, in which case you may not need to prepare at all :-).
Or it may be the case that you're hundreds of points away from your target score, in which case it may take several months to reach your target score.

I couldn't understand your question.. But to answer whatever I understood, I don't know how IELTS score can help decide how prepared you are for GMAT.. those two are completely different and independent. I'd suggest you take a sample GMAT test and see how much you score.

Hi Yusif,

Most Test Takers need 3 months of study time (or more) to hit their peak scores (with 10-15 hours per week of consistent study time).

It would be a good idea to take a FULL LENGTH practice CAT exam so that you can establish a "baseline" score and get a sense of your strengths and weaknesses. You can download 2 free CATs from www.mba.com. A full CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take one. Once you have your score results, you should post back here for additional advice.
