With your GMAT, I definitely think Duke or Cornell are in play. Obviously your GPA will hurt and the fact you are coming from a background that isn't underrepresented in school. Be careful about how you use your extenuating circumstances. It might make good fodder for an essay, but you don't want it to seem like you are making an excuse for your poor performance.
