After taking all 6 MGMAT CATS, and never scoring above the 70th percentile (in the quant section) on a single one, I decided to take the Veritas Prep free GMAT CAT today. It was ridiculously easy. Based on the OG questions I've gone over, along with the MGMAT CATs I've completed, my feeling is the Veritas quant CAT is nothing like the real test. I finished the Veritas quant with 11 minutes to spare, even though on my last 6 tests (MGMAT and GMAT PREP), I finished with mere seconds (at best) to spare.
Moreover, Veritas said I scored a 46 quant, when I only missed 6 questions on the entire 37 question test. Why would the score be so low if it was, indeed, adapting to my ability?
For everyone reading this, don't waste your time with the Veritas CAT, it is not indicative of the score you'll receive. Use MGMAT.
