Should I retake- 670 (41V, 41Q)

by Msmith39 » Tue Aug 13, 2013 10:57 am
Took GMAT today and got a 670 (41Q, 41V). I am really upset because I had been getting 48-49 on Quant in all my practice tests. I was shooting for 700+, as I have a good GPA from a top target school. My question is, should i re-take it, and if so, any suggestions?

The quant felt good as I was going through it- some of them were hard, but i assumed it was the computer getting harder as I answered more correctly...

Hi msmith39,

A 670 overall is a really good score, so you shouldn't get too down on yourself. What schools are you planning to apply to? It might be that you're set with the score that you have.

I'd like to go to a top B-school, ie. Stanford, Berkeley, Penn, etc... thinking I need to keep grinding and take it again

Especially given the percentile difference between quant (52) and verbal (93)
