Need help to get a 650 in GMAT

by shasha » Sat Mar 20, 2010 10:47 pm
Hey,
I'm new in this group. I just need some help on regarding GMAT exam..Yesterday I gave my GMAT exam. & I got only 480. I want to increase this score at least 650.. I'm planning to retake the exam next month again. Can any one suggest me, what I should do? What materials I should follow. Last time I follow Kaplan's GMAT premiere program with Cd & Baron's CD.
I'm facing difficulty in Verbal section because english isn't my native language. So, I'll be glad if anyone give me any suggestion regarding on this matter.
Thanks......

Shasha

Hi Shasha,

I appreciate your commitment and dedication...my suggestion will be to give yourself time and strengthen your basics. Once you get hold of your basics with practice you can easily score 650+...Considering your score you have to work on both maths and verbal.....start with Manhattan SC, Manhattan Maths series...then move to OG...

I am astonished not to see OG in your prepration material...they are the bible to crack GMAT.

Trust yourself you will do well.

Regards
Singhag

Use Manhattan GMAT books, Powerscore GMAT CR bible, and OG books. Kaplan is useless.
