Folks, I plan on picking up gmat after 3 years of my first attempt which was complete failure. I went into my work schedule and got lost.
Well, here I am with a determined intention to do well in my second attempt. I am sure lot has changed in 3 years and I am starting from ground zero.

Hi rc_sunil,

Before you dive in to a particular plan/book/course, could you answer a few questions? There are any number of people here who can offer advice (myself included)?

1) What do you want to score?
2) Where do you want to apply to school?
3) When do you want to apply?

I suggest that you take an official practice test: https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx
This will give you an idea of how much prep you'll need, and it may help you identify what sort of resource(s) you'll need to prepare.

Also, you might consider signing up for Beat The GMAT's free 60-Day Study Guide (https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide).
Each day, you will receive an email with a series of learning activities that guide you, step-by-step, from Day 1 to test day. This will ensure that you will cover everything that the GMAT tests.

I am looking to score above 700
I want to apply to UT Austin (local to me)
I am targeting 2014 admissions

Not that much has changed in 3 years!

The Quant scoring scale keeps getting tougher and of course the Integrated Reasoning section has come on line.

Look at this as a chance to reboot and do it right this time! If you have plenty of time to study you can follow a logical and thorough process. If you are looking for a course you can check the "GMAT course reviews" tab up above.
