sources for CAT

Ted,
I took MGMAT 1,2,3,4
scores were 420, 680,680,680
Q 99% percentile and V is 68% percentile
I need to improve on verbal/Cr as well as give more CAT.
Could you point me to effective techniques as well as to more sources to CAT as close simulations to GMAT.

Sources for other CATs:
Official GMAT Prep
Kaplan
Knewton (though the test is new and there have been some comments about inaccuracy in the score)
Princeton Review
Veritas

There are others, but this is a nice start. Good luck!

I definitely agree on GMATPrep (as a good source for CATs). I haven't taken the other ones listed above, so I can't comment on those. You may want to check out this thread where people have been discussing various CATs: https://www.beatthegmat.com/best-practic ... t1327.html

What have you been using so far to prepare for the verbal? (Not just for practice problems, but to actually learn what you need to learn for the verbal section?)

If you haven't been using any books to learn the grammar rules or the techniques for the different kinds of verbal questions, then you'll need to get something. Obviously, I like the books my company produces, but I'm biased. :) You may want to ask around and see what sources other students have used and like.

If you have been using certain books, let us know what you have been using and what has been working well vs. what has not been working well.
