IMO, A

Stmt 1 -> If K is -ve, 5K will always be less than K SUFF

Stmt 2 -> 5K < 1 means K <1> K can have -ve and +ve values.. for -ve values 5K <K> K.. so NOT SUFF

To explain Stmt 2:
5K <1> K <1> 5/8 which is < 1. So K <5K> -10 which is <1> 5K.
So Stmt 2 is Insufficient.

To explain Stmt 2:
5K < 1 => K < 1. So K can be a fraction or a -ve #.
Let K = 1/8. (choose any fraction between 0 and 1/2)
So 5K => 5/8 which is < 1. So K < 5K

Let K = -2
So 5K => -10 which is < 1. Here K > 5K.
So Stmt 2 is Insufficient.

can k take the value -1/5 ? i mean is -1/5 a negetvie number ?
