have or do

in a sentence like this:

... have a greater significance than the particulars of the plan do.

instead of do, is also have correct?

this is a little vague to answer... it will help if you can type out the entire sentence. You may actually not need the "do" at the end of the sentence.

this is a little vague to answer... it will help if you can type out the entire sentence. You may actually not need the "do" at the end of the sentence.

They have a greater significance than the particulars of the plan do.
