Try not to read into your practice test scores too much. What's more important is for you to go back into your test and examine what you got right and what you got wrong. As long as you can learn from your weaknesses you should be just fine.

10 weeks should be sufficient time to make a lot of improvement. Take some time to study the following resources as you plan your preparation:

Joining the club

660 on the first MGMAT CAT Q45 with V35. Q was definitely tough, ran out of time on the last question

but V? A li'l shocked right now. Will take an analysis in the evening. With D-Day only a few days away, this is a real shocker.

Keep your head up, Neo! Don't read too much into your score--trust the progress you've made during your prep.

Have you taken the second GMATPrep test yet?

From what I hear, MGMAT's tests are really hard, esp math, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. See how your score on a GMATPrep test compares.

Your math score tanked because you had a string of questions wrong in a row at the end. The score you received is below your pure math ability, but the same thing will happen on the test if you don't get your pacing right. The test assumes anything you didn't answer you would have gotten wrong and scores the test accordingly.

The test WILL give you questions you cannot answer. The only strategically advantageous way to deal with those is to pull the plug, make an educated guess, and move on BEFORE you blow too much time and have it cost you at the end of the test.

The worst thing for your score is not to get one question wrong but to get a string wrong in a row - make sure you don't do that again!
