Similarly, Px and Py = part-time employees in x and y resp
We are asked to find if
Fx/Px > (Fx+Fy) / (Px+Py)
i.e.
Fx/Px > Fx/Px [ (1+Fy/Fx) / (1+Py/Px) ]
1 > (1+Fy/Fx) / (1+Py/Px)
1 + Py/Px > 1 + Fy/Fx
Py / Px > Fy/Fx
or
Fx/Px > Fy/Py
1 - sufficient.
Fy/Py > (Fx+Fy) / (Px+Py)
Fy/Py > Fy/Py [ (1+Fx/Fy) / (1+Px/Py) ]
Fy/Py > Fx/Px
So, sufficient.
2 - sufficient.
(Fx+Fy) / (Px+Py)
= Fx/Px [ (1+Fy/Fx) / (1 + Py/Px) ]
We are given Fy/Fx < 1 and Py/Px > 1
So, ratio for Z less than Fx/Px. So, sufficient.
